PROJECTS
1.Main Project:
Title: Image Smoothing In Spatial Domain undertaken during Engineering.
Team: 4 Members.
Description:
The project demonstrates the filtering techniques by performing
operations such as smoothening and removing the noise. Spatial domain
techniques directly deal with the image pixels. The pixel values are
manipulated to achieve desired enhancement.
Smoothing reduces or attenuates the higher frequencies in the image.
This process is used for blurring and for noise reduction. Blurring is used in
preprocessing steps, such as removal of small details from an image prior to
object extraction, and bridging of small gaps in lines or curves. Noise
reduction can be accomplished by blurring with a linear filter and also by non-
linear filtering.
2.Mini Project:
Competencies: Title: Line follower with LCD display
Presentation and Leadership
Team: 4 Members.

Description:
Problem Solving Skills
A Line Follower is an autonomous robot that will follow a black line
on a white background. We used ATmega-8 micro controller interfaced with two
pairs of LED and Photo Diode for direction sensing, and a LCD which shows
present state of line follower such as stop, forward, left and right.
It can be utilized for development of pick and place Robot in industrial
automation’s; by making changes in program code it can be used as obstacle
avoiding robot.

Digital design is an amazing and very broad field. The applications of
Telugu : Read and Speak
digital design are present in our daily life, including Computers, calculators, video
cameras etc. In fact, there will be always need for high speed and low power digital
products which makes digital design a future growing business. ALU (Arithmetic
logic unit) is a critical component of a microprocessor and is the core component of
central processing unit. Furthermore, it is the heart of the instruction execution
portion of every computer.
ALU’s comprise the combinational logic that implements logic
operations, such as AND and OR, and arithmetic operations, such as ADD and
SUBTRACT. This project proposes a technique to design and implement a 32 bit
ALU which is a digital circuit that performs arithmetic and logical operations on
Xilinx ISE 8.1i using Verilog.
4. Mini Project:
Title: Effective Segmentation of Liver Hypertrophy Tissue
Description:
Hypertrophy is the condition where increase in the volume of an organ
or tissue occurs due to enlargement of its component cells. In this project we are
mainly concentrating on colour conversion and segmentation. In computer vision,
segmentation refers to the process of partitioning a digital image into multiple
segments (sets of pixels, also known as superpixels). Image segmentation is
typically used to locate objects and boundaries (lines, curves, etc.) in images. More
precisely, image segmentation is the process of assigning a label to every pixel in an
image such that pixels with the same label share certain visual characteristics.
