PROJECT HISTORY
Northface G.C.,PR:2001~2014 Owner ● Multitude of Projects within the Hospitality Industry ● Hotel Remodeling
By exercising “big company” management skills and “small company” customer satisfaction, I was able to take my
start-up to $2mm annual revenue within two years. In our fifth year, I started a design-build department that has
developed several projects for several top shelf companies. Over the past eight years, 75% of our customers were
repeat customers.
Coastal Dev.,PR:1995~2000 Owners Representative ● 648 acre PUD, Hotel, Golf, Residential ● $300mm
Spearheaded all pre-development activities of the large, 648-acre PUD. Interviewed and qualified architects, golf
course architects, site engineers, interior designers, specialty consultants, and FF&E suppliers. Prepared all pre-
development and construction budgets & schedules. Led the segregation process of all 63 parcels and completed all
construction permitting requirements. Managed the development and construction of a 14 unit, luxury beac hfront
attached villas project, whose pricing started at $1.8mm
Palmas del Mar, PR: February 1995 – November 1995 ● Development Consultant
By providing meticulous and realistic budgets and preparing clear and concise reports, I was able to convince the
Owner that the financial framework of the $440 mm hotel and property improvement project was not sustainable.
Conquistador Resort and C.C.: 1992~1995 Director of Facilities
As part of the opening team, I conducted all “final” hiring interviews for the engineering department. By hiring the
“right attitude”, I was quickly able to form a “team” among my 120 department employees and was able to reduce
our department budget by 20% before our third year. As member of the executive committee, I participated in all
operational decisions of the 1000 room facility.
Conquistador Resort and C.C. 1991~1992 Project Manager ● Reconstruction of Hotel, Golf, Marina ● $247mm
In order to overcome a lengthy and costly value engineering process I coordinated with the Architects and
Engineers, to break the project into 7 bid packs which allowed us to simultaneously bid and contract 5 General
Contractors and 2 specialty contractors in order to complete the project within the forecasted 18 months.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
A wide range of on-site management positions within construction, as well as, development projects totaling over
$300mm.
