Directed strategy development, lobbying and management of state-level
issues in as many as 14 western states. Developed relationships and worked
with legislative and community thought leaders to secure funding for
educational technology. Directed all legislative and policy activities
related to educational technology at the state and district levels.
Challenge: Securing state funding in times of declining revenues; dealing
with difficult internal politics.
. Secured over $50M in new funding for educational technology in the state
of Idaho while fundamentally changing the way the state thinks about how
it funds technology
