STERIS Isomedix Services, Mentor, Ohio

Global leader in infection prevention, contamination control, surgical and

critical care technologies. The Isomedix Services segment offers contract

sterilization services through 18 processing facilities in U.S., Puerto

Rico and Canada. Operations are in a process/warehouse setting employing

25-100 employees at each facility. Market focus is in the medical device,

pharmaceutical, consumer, industrial and salvage markets. 24/7 operation

Regional Human Resources Manager - 8/2004 to present

. HR responsibilities for the facilities in Spartanburg, SC, Vega Alta,

Puerto Rico, Grand Prairie, TX and El Paso, TX with experience in our

Ontario, Canada facility.

. Two HR Coordinators direct reports and dotted line reports at plant

sites. I report to the Sr. Director of Human Resources.

. Provide guidance and support to other Regional HR Managers in the

field to ensure practice consistency

. Corporate level involvement in process improvement, new system

integration and the development of new practices for which recognition

of results was honored.

. Employee Relations

o Administer annual Mercer employee engagement survey which

includes distribution, employee group meetings with findings and

feeding, and propose solutions to employee concerns to each

management team resulting in stronger employee engagement.

o Mentor, coach and support managers with employee matters

o Prepare and oversee development plans for underperforming

employees to bring about change and improve productivity.

. Training/Development

o Assess training needs of management and hourly workforce and

provide resources

o Facilitate and deliver training events, so including topics such

Workplace, Drug Free Workplace, 5s, Resolving Conflict,

o Meet with Zone Director, VP of Operations to discuss talent
