Objective – Design and Analysis of an Alternative, Cost efficient Inlet Guide Valve for
Centrifugal Air Compressor for In-house Manufacturing.
Software Used – 1. Computer Modeling – Solidworks 2012, CATIA V5R16
2. Analysis – Solidworks 2012, Ansys 14.0
3. Drafting of Sheets – Autocad 2009, Solidworks 2012
Achievements – 1. Cost Reduction – 66.50 % Reduction (from approx. Rs. 2 Lacs to Rs. 67,000 /-)
2. Simplification of Design – 45.00 % Reduction of Components
