Project Description: Our client has been selling magazine and merchandise products on the internet SWAT

(Synapse Web Application Toolkit). SWAT handles the supply of magazine and merchandise offers to the e-

commerce site, management of how marketing offers are presented to customers, construction of web page

layouts, creation and storage of reusable content, processing of customer orders, ability to analyze customer

behavior on the site.

Synapse orders are received through various channels and data formats. New orders run through OCS -Order

Capture Service i.e. an order entry process. Processed orders are passes to single destination system for

Billing and Fulfillment; reprocessed/final reject thru "The Depot" and confirmation acknowledgement sent back

to the Partner for receivable. OCS has ability to provide Synapse Clients with a simplified or a customized

Client Activity Reporting module called (CAR) to meet their reporting needs.

Responsibilities:

Project Description: Document Management System (DMS) is a web application developed for a particular

business that works in a project-centric way. Clients having distributed resources, like database servers, Web

server, Exchange Server, etc., wants to transfer or share documents over the network can use this system.

System also integrates itself with Microsoft office to share documents within the organization. The system

comprises of a number of key features, such as Check-in, Check-out (CICO), Access control, Versioning,

Issuing, Auditing and Searching (both META data and Indexed document content). These features are used

to process documents in a controlled stable environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzed Business Requirements and System Specifications to understand the application

United Assurance is the mutual life insurance company, with over decades of experience in providing

diversified financial solutions, including life insurance, disability income insurance, retirement services,

employee benefits and investments.

Application involved automating invoice preparation to enable general office staff to process each case by

selecting from an active queue. The printed invoice is the end product of this system. The front end developed

in Visual Basic on an Oracle database.

Responsibilities

• Involved in meetings for preparing test plans based on Software Requirements Document (SRD).

• Tested Computations involving business rules are proper and correct values are inserted into target

warehouse tables.
