Tons) LRF, and two stands with 6 meter radius CCM as well as different Rolling Mills like

Channels, cold, drawn wire rod, Angles, Shafts, Deformed Bar,Wire Rod.

Job Description

Worked as a Production Engineer (EAF/LRF)

Manage all the melting process/shop during the operation of Electric Arc Furnace

and Ladle Refining Furnace.

Perform the calculation of additives (such as lime, Carbon, Ferro Si, Ferro Mn, Al,

etc.) during heat operation with respect to the standards of steel grade such as AISI -

1006, AISI-1008,AISI-1010,AISI-1015,SR-24,SR30 or as per customer requirments

etc.

Ensure that preparing of scrap blending / charge calculation as per the production

planning inputs.

Handle day to day problems during heat processing as like boiling, balancing of

heat chemistry etc.

Coordinates closely with QC laboratory for sending of samples and collecting of

reports.

Perform all the commissioning activities of EAF / LRF under the expert’s

supervision of the Chinese consultants.

Attend the class and field training of process controls of EAF/LRF supported and

organized by Chinese Engineers.

Make sure all the safety parameters should be followed during heat processing.

Manage and organized the shift staff by assisting the upper management.

Agha steel industries has EBT High power EAF (40 Tons) with oxy-fuel burners

coupled with (45 Tons) LRF, and three stands with 6 metre radius and direct rolling

after CCM as well as Reheating Furnace to Rolling Mill.

Job Description

Worked as a QC Engineer/Assistant Manager

Supervise of QC system and Monitors the work of Senior Technicians and Foreman

to achieve satisfaction of Rolling Mill relatively to billet quality.

Supports Quality & Production Control Section Manager and solves quality related

problems with his team within the Steel Plant.

Cooperate and supervise together with Production Control Engineer and Quality

Assurance Specialist the production line, mainly with respect to quality parameters

and metallurgical process questions.

Collects and analyzes the Daily Quality Report and reports deviations from the

quality standards on the Morning Meeting

Good knowledge about the Quality control Standards ( Deformed bar ASTM-A615,

BS-4449 1997, BS-4449 2005) as well as Wire Rod standards ( Low and High

Carbon wire rod)

Control TMT Process on Rolling Mill(Thermo Mechanical Treatment)

Generates the data and present the trend analysis weekly in the Morning Meeting

Develops the ISO Procedures, Work Instructions, Safety Procedure and Forms

relatively to his section. Actively participate on the revision of WI/Procedures of

Steel Plant on all subjects with impact on quality

Gives the clearance for casting the heats with chemistry deviations and release the

billets of the held heats

Prepare a Monthly Quality Report

Participate on Production Planning Meetings

Supervises and coordinates trials for cost savings and quality improvements

Ensures Steel Plant production targets are met with respect to quality parameters

Follow up budgeted figures (cooperated with Process Engineer) related to steel plant

production and ensures that there is no overrun of the budget affecting the steel

quality.

Ensures that other Steel Plant objectives related to his area like Cost Reduction,

Safety and Environment Standards, etc. are achieved.

Provides the guidance to Foreman and Senior Technician, QC and Operation Team,

for achieving the improvement in product quality and supply of billets to the Mills.

Also interacts with Process Engineers, Specialist, Melt/Caster and Production Team.

Ensures that all necessary communication, instructions and agreements related to

the department and from Management reaches everyone in the shop.

Prepares and carries out necessary training for employees
