The Master Degree program strives to advance students ʼ understanding of art education with a

complement of courses that explores historical studies of art education, art criticism, studio work, and

Editorial design covers several specialised areas such as book design, designing newspapers,

magazines and periodicals, and online publication design. Each of these specialisations presents

different variations and viewpoints in which the graphic designer is always present, whether as the art

director, as part of the design team, in a parallel role to the editor, or in some cases, even as the editor.

Given that the essential aspects of editorial design are typography and composition, this postgraduate

course pays special attention to the different functions and applications of these two central areas within

an editorial design process.
