PROJECT WORK:
Domain- Networking & Data mining (subset of Artificial Intelligence)
Title- ‘Comparison of machine learning algorithms, for Internet traffic classification’
ABOUT THE PROJECT (TECHNOLOGY & BRIEF PROJECT DESCRIPTION)-
Use of machine learning algorithms is in trend currently, as accuracy achieved by port/payload
based classification of Internet traffic is very low. The comparison of various ‘machine learning’ algorithms
will assist Network providers to implement specific algorithm as per their requirement (i.e. suitable for real
time application, accuracy, computational performance etc.)
Domain- ROBOTICS
Title- ‘SPIDER ROBOT’
ABOUT THE PROJECT (TECHNOLOGY & BRIEF PROJECT DESCRIPTION)-
Implemented a robot with walking mechanism in it, so that it can walk on uneven terrains and can
cross small obstacles, which is an advantage over traditional wheeled robots. The robot was controlled
manually, but it can be extended to prestigious autonomous robots. Programming was done in AVR
Studio4 for microcontroller ATMEGA16 using embedded C language.
Domain- Embedded systems
Title- ‘Line Tracer robot with obstacle detection’
ABOUT THE PROJECT (TECHNOLOGY & BRIEF PROJECT DESCRIPTION)-
Implemented a line tracer robot having infrared sensors for obstacle detection, when obstacles
are detected the Robot takes another available path. AVR ATMEGA16 was used as micro-controller and
programming was done in AVR Studio4 (IDE) in embedded C.
