• Supervise all aspects of the group to achieve efficient material handling including but not limited to: Right
Parts, Right Time and Right Delivery Quality.
• Direct supervision of associates assigned to the Group Leader’s shift and attended to all associate needs for

etc. Provide the same support indirectly to the associates on the opposite shift.

ensuring company requirements are met. Support a “one touch” process which avoids additional handling and
part storage outside of container.
• Support transportation cost optimization activities related to routing structure, line-side arrangement and
packaging.
• Collect, investigate, and analyze data using a variety of methods to implement countermeasures for supply,
quality or production problems.
• Understand and operate robots, computers, cranes, powered industrial vehicles, and other equipment as
appropriate.
• Monitor, correct and improve the process arrangement, downtime, work instructions, and job processes as
they relate to model mix, cycle time, job difficulty, scrap, equipment, and manpower to implement required
task reductions, and to continuously improve upon production goals
• Available and prepared for work at least 15 to 30 minutes before the shift starts in order to address manpower
needs, previous shift carryover items, and other miscellaneous “start-up” problems. Also be available as
needed after the end of shift or weekends to properly follow-up or assist on activities. Been a 2nd shift group
leader for Body P.C 6 months and always on call and never had a problem.
