Job Title: Senior Pharmaceutical Technician

Job Description:

This position oversees the preparation of components and equipment for use in the Aseptic

Processing Area (APA) including, but not limited to:

• Oversight of equipment operations including parts washers, tray washers, stopper washers, Mork

washers, autoclaves, hot air ovens, etc.

• Identification & correction of problems to prevent down time

• Acts as a mentor to less experienced staff and assists with on the job training within the department

• Works closely with the supervisor to ensure personnel are assigned appropriately to complete all tasks

in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Reviews documentation, batch records, general forms, log books, print outs, etc.

• Ensures batch record is completed thoroughly and without deviation

• Serves as a Subject Matter Expert in their area and may represent the area during regulatory and

customer audits

• Performs Assistant Pharmaceutical Technician (APT) and Pharmaceutical Technician (PT) duties as
