Profile

For the past 5 years I have been an educator. I have worked as an elementary teacher and as a math teacher at the

middle school and high school levels. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked at Granite Construction as a Project

Engineer. There I digitize plans using earthwork, and oversaw projects. Teaching has allowed me to develop excellent

communication skills and planning skills to take big concepts and break them down into smaller more manageable pieces

that others are able to cognitively grasp.

Math Teacher / GMAT Quantitative Professor

Through the several years of teaching, I have learned new innovative strategies to better aid students in the subject area of

math. In addition to this, I have become proficient on teaching students how to solve problems multiple ways and also use

proper syntax when solving math problems. During the 2014 Winter quarter at CSUEB, I taught a GMAT preparatory

course. This course was design to analyze data and draw conclusions using reasoning skills.

I worked as a project engineer at Granite?s French Camp branch. There I collaborated with estimators, digitizing plans, and

then overlooked projects that our bids were accepted on. Throughout each projects the estimator, the foreman, and I would
