PROJECTS:
Project Title: Perturb and Observe MPPT Date: MAY 2014
In this project conventional and well known P&O MPPT is used to track the maximum
power from PV cell. Hardware implementation with Three-Level DC-DC converter.
Project Title: Golden section search MPPT Date: MAY 2014
In many PV energy conversion systems, non-isolated DC-DC converters with high
voltage ratio are desired. In this project, Golden Section Search (GSS) based MPPT control is
demonstrated with three-level DC-DC boost converter.
Project Title: PV Emulator Date: MAY 2014
This project presents a new algorithm for PV emulation based on load resistance and
implemented using DC-DC buck converter in current control mo de. Which acts like a constant current
source to emulate the PV panel.
Project Title: Safety guard for home appliances Date: JUNE 2011
It protects the home appliances from switching transients.
Project Title: Protection system for domestic wiring Date: MAY 2012
Protection system for DOMESTIC wiring against EARTH fault, OVERCURRENT fault
and with including SMOKE or FIRE protection system.
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:
Designed 100W Three-level DC-DC converter.
Implemented GSS, P&O MPPT and PV emulator algorithms in Arduino micro controller with closed
loop using ADC’s and Timers of Arduino.
Design of PCB and Inductor.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Programming Languages: C, At ‘mega 328 Micro controller, TMS320F2812(Timers usage).
Software Packages: MATLAB, PSIM

Submitted conference on GSS Based MPPT for Three Level DC-DC Converter for Photovoltaic-
Generation System in INDICON 2014.
Submitted conference paper on “Load resistance based PV emulator with current controlled buck
converter” in ICRERA’14.
