telephone by determining nature and purpose of visit/call, and refer
inquiries or escort persons to specific destinations. Have people sign in
on log when entering establishment. Operate multi-line phone calls. Answer
or transfer calls, take messages, periodically check voice mail messages
and return calls in a timely manner. Provide information on classes,
programs and scheduling appointments. Call to invite clients/students for
info sessions and orientation. Coordinate, organize, and schedule
orientations and interview process. Read and interpret procedures, policies
and rules in recruitment session. Make reminder phone call appointments.
Call clients/students for follow-ups after completion of the program. Enter
follow-up, updates and case manager notes into database system. Enroll and
exit clients as requested by managers and supervisor. Gather and copy
client/student confidential documents for case manager files. Maintains
customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information
confidential. Assist client with full explanation and filling out
documents, forms, policies and contracts. Individually counsel clients
offering guidance, support, recommendations, advice, personal growth and
encouragement. Transmit information or documents to staff, using computer,
mail, or facsimile machine. Keep equipment operational by following
manufacturer instructions and established procedures. Enter JTA/VOS data
and codes into the cities database system of important confidential
information of clients/students. Assemble, organize, and review documents
and folders. Organizes work by reading and routing correspondence;
collecting information, and organize file system. Store/record files in a
neat alphabetic order. Pick-up/drop-off files to East Bay YouthWorks when
assigned. Assist teacher with YouthBUILD program when needed. Create
resumes, cover letters, follow-up letters, and certificate of completion of
program for students. Assisted co-works and staff members as needed.
Coordinate main conference room and efficiency room calendars. Handle staff
sign-in/out time sheets. Train new interns on usage of data base system and
how to properly use office equipment. Accept and sign for FedEx, UPS & USPS
deliveries. Work overtime when necessary. Maintain office supplies
inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating
needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying
receipt of supplies. Check, create and record reports. Create invoices for
case managers and timesheets for interns in the department. Maintain
department schedule by maintaining calendars for department personnel;
arranging meetings, conferences, teleconferences and events for city
managers, staff members, council members, city mayors, vice mayors and the
secretary of state when visiting. Help manage tours for potential partners,
visitors, clients and their families. Receive a promotion within my first
years of working.

Duties implied: Greet customers entering establishments. Operate cash
registers to compute and record sales. Receive payment by cash, credit card
or debit cards. Responsible for opening/closing store, store set-up and
clean up, food preparation, prepare a variety of foods according to
customers' orders or instructions, following approved procedures including
wash, peel and/or cut various foods to prepare for cooking or serving.
Place food trays over food warmers for immediate service, or store un-
cooked food in refrigerated storage cabinets. Package take-out foods and
serve food to customers. Also responsible for cooking and handled fryer,
mixing ingredients to make batter for cooking, customer service, taking
customer orders (phone/counter), Inventory/Stock and cashiering/ balancing
of cashier drawer. Inform manager when supplies are getting low or
equipment is not working properly. Supervise and train all new employees.
Create work schedules and enforce policies and procedures. Receive two
promotions while working for this company.

I have excellent critical thinking skills/ math skills and strong problem
