II. Teaching Experience
I acted as the teaching assistant in one or two courses per quarter in the classics department of
the University of Minnesota between 1988 and 1993 including Greek Mythology, Greek
Religion, Roman Religion, Introduction to Judaism, The Age of Augustus, The Age of Homer, The
Bible: Wisdom, Poetry and Apocalyptic, Biblical prophecy, and The Modern Study of the Old
Testament. I also taught the class, Introduction to the Humanities: Rome at the Metro State
University, Minneapolis MN, in the Spring quarter of 1992, and fall 1992. This is a lecture and
discussion class designed to introduce under-graduate students majoring outside the humanities
to the history and culture of Rome. The first section of the course was taught as a seminar. For

I have taught Ancient Greek as an adjunct at Webster University, Spring Semester 1999
