Barwa Al – Bahara Project: Mega infrastructural city project, an integrated workers’ city that will accommodate 53,000

workers’ and employees, making it the GCC’s largest workers’ accommodation in industrial area, Doha, Qatar.

Main Responsibilities:

Follow and implement the company health, safety and environment policy and procedures.

Educate workers about potential hazards associated with their work and work area; know where information on

these hazards are kept for their review; and use this information when needed.

Provide assistance in hazardous material spill cleanup; preparing written reports about reportable releases and

notifying appropriate agencies about reportable spills.

Attending the Tool Box meetings and provide technical support related to HSE issues.

Ensure workers follow safe operating procedures and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) guidance applicable to

work performed.

Inspection of fire extinguishers and also confirm the extinguishers are visible, unobstructed, and in their

designated locations.

Compliance with government regulations on safe storage, handling and disposal of the treated sewage water.

Ensure thorough inspection of confined space, ensuring entry permit is issued before confined space access.

Initiated maintenance and repair orders for company and rental equipment. Ordered first aid supplies, ergonomic

This fast track project included refurbishment of 147 rooms & 10 suites, fit out of 3 new restaurants,

installation of new glass façade, road construction, landscaping works and renovation of swimming pool

areas.

A 309 key six-storey Hotel on Saadiyat Island including all FF&E, a single basement for MEP and

parking for 430 vehicles, a health club, four F&B outlets, ballroom & conference facilities; a presidential

villa, three 2-bedroom villas; six single storey ryads; one double storey ryad; a kids club; a beach house;

all landscaping, external works and services.

Design and construct of a 300 bedroom 4 star hotel adjacent to the Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri.

Main Responsibilities:

Monitor the prevailing working conditions and ensures safe working practices in the company.

Follow up on work permit systems and inspections, planning safety arrangements for erection work.

Making sure that lifting area together with material being lifted is barricaded off and appropriate warning signs

are put in place.

Maintaining general information report, hazard condition & other requirements like equipment needs for first aid,

ppe’s, etc.

The Africa Cultural Marina Mall complex includes the Victoria Lagoons Marina Mall Hotel & Serviced

Apartments, the Victoria Lagoons Marina Mall, a modern shopping, and entertainment destination and an

8 storey gourmet tower dedicated to diverse restaurants. The development features a 200 room five star

hotel and 440 hotel apartments, while the mall contains 180 outlets.

Lagos - Abuja Highway Road Construction.

Construction of Petroleum Mega Station, Ibafo, Lagos State.

Complete ceilings and partitions to the diagnostics and treatment building, as well as the patient tower at

the Nigeria Federal Government Clinic Victoria Island-Lagos. The 364 bed hospital, Nigeria Federal

Government Clinic, will be a center of healthcare excellence in the region and worldwide, and will attract

patients from all parts of the globe to its specialist clinics: cardiac and vascular medicine, neurology,

respiratory and critical care, gastroenterology and ophthalmology.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct daily site inspection and supervision to ensure proper implementation of the project safety quality

management as per the approved manual submitted at all stages of site works at site

Inspecting of all materials delivered at site to ensure they conform to the specified quality requirements.

Carrying out risk assessment of work activities to identify the likelihood and severity that is associated with the

work in other to develop control measures.

Establish, implement and maintain quality, safety and environmental systems. Monitor activities to ensure

compliance with these systems.

Manage reports and present summaries to management with suggested solutions.

Handle construction hygiene, equipment protection, machine guarding and other health and safety programs .

To coordinate the training of personnel in areas of safety, including first aid, CPR, accident prevention and
