Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Piping, Storage Tanks, Boilers, Static and Mobile Gas

• Analyze solicitations, blueprints, plans and other constructive documents to prepare time, cost,

materials, and labor estimates for bidding on Fabrication projects, applying knowledge of

techniques, principles, and processes for Manufacturing and Government projects, in the

Aerospace, Military Industries, and the ASME world of Fabrication.

• Day to day Experiences in estimating shop labor and doing material takeoffs of steel fabricated

projects from aircraft parts to heavy steel fabricated assemblies like trailers for aircraft engines,

aircraft moving tugs to steel structures for NASA, and Experience of wide ranging Pressure

Equipments: Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Piping, Storage Tanks, and

Boilers etc, using materials like aluminum, stainless steels, hardened steels, and composites

from tubes (round, rect, Square), flat bars, sheet metal from thin gage to very thick sheets,

beams, and solid stock as well.

• Research and evaluate subcontractors for special processes that has to be accomplished per the

contractual agreements, as well as the quality processes that had to be either written or

incorporated under different standards (AWS, DOD, and ASME, etc).

• Daily use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Software Apps used is Epicor ERP

systems, and Job Boss.

• Assist other team members in layout and proper instructions of how job is to be setup.

Supervised in the Welding Inspections, process improvements, and helping Quality Manager

implementing better ways to make sub-assemblies for better efficiency to the process of steel

structures.

• Used my knowledge and hands on in MIG, Flux Core welding to team members that needed

guidance in doing bevels, vertical up, and flats, as well as fabrication, use of tools, forklift

operation, pallet jacks, and general shop practices.

• Performed GMAW welding in different positions, and Inspections on frame structures for GM, and

Ford under procedures and processes and have them fixed to spec, if applicable, record data and

enter in files.

• Supervised and maintained the position of Internal Quality Auditor at Tower Automotive for work,

safety, and job instructions out on the floor and offices to maintain compliance, using audit

methods with the ISO Systems. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, & TS 16949. Was certified in all three.

• Did inventory of different steels and metals, and kept saw operators stocked with steel products

for orders that needed to be completed. When not keeping up with the operators, ran saw

equipment to help with different jobs that needed completion. Used standup forklifts too.

• Supervised 6 men and maintained inventory, the equipment, ordering of materials, how projects

were being cut to print from operators, and kept up with all paperwork involved to make sure it

went to the proper supervisor to be setup and built.

• Supervised 7 men under my command in maintaining the magazine spaces, which was four

levels, which included cleanliness, keeping up with fire station equipment for the spaces, and

proper stowage of missiles, bombs, etc. Supervised in different buildup of missiles, bombs, and

programming of certain types for wartime use. Maintained all paperwork that went with buildup,

quality, and inventory to the proper places. Was certified for standup forklift operation for 4 years.

• Maintained bowling lanes for cleanliness, and made sure all operations were running smooth with

the machinery of the bowling lanes. Did the proper maintenance to machines to prevent mishaps.
