Profitability, Marketing & Sales

. Responsible for all branch marketing, sales, personnel, profit and

loss activities.

. Originated an annual average of $50 million in loan volume generating

over $1.5 million in average gross revenues.

. Conceived and implemented a self-funding and self-sustainable referral

generation mechanism (RGM) to capture and maintain control of the real

estate agent/loan officer referral relationship, increase sales

volume, reduce gross costs and foster an exponential improvement in

profit per dollar loaned.

. Marketing and sales of liability service tools including; private

investor/hard money commercial finance, mortgage financing, debt

settlement, mortgage loan modification and credit restoration.

. Improved gross margin by 3% and drove accountability for sales and

operating margin commitments.

. Conceptualized and implemented a branch management concept that

yielded the highest gross margin per producing agent.

. Production and hosting of a weekly radio show for the benefit of those

seeking liability management guidance.

Cost & Risk Reduction

. Designed and Implemented an Excel based analysis and communication

system which enabled a radical improvement in sales conversion and

process efficiency.

. Restructured the Latin American finance function and reduced SG&A

expense by $250 thousand per year.

. Designed and executed inter-company funding/borrowing among foreign

affiliate companies to minimize tax expense, borrowing costs and

foreign currency exposure.

. Initiated the use of World Bank and US Government sponsored programs

to address the funding needs and sovereign risk exposure created by an

increasing presence in developing countries.

Financial Auditing, Analysis & Reporting

. Designed, implemented and directed all phases of financial management,

cash-flow strategy, forecasting, accounting and internal controls

systems. Communicated areas of opportunity and provided financial and

general business guidance to division and plant management.

. Reestablished the financial integrity and control of the $85 million

Latin American sales region.

. Implemented business planning and monthly forecasting/reporting

processes for an 80% improvement in the reliability of information

Strategy & Planning

. The Pueblo plant - a "green-field start-up" demand flow facility

specializing in lean production, total quality and participative

reporting to the plant manager. Its sales and customer base grew at an

unprecedented pace. Capitalization was low. Return on capital employed

not only exceeded all expectations but quickly surpassed all other

operating units. It was profitable by the third month of production

and broke even within seven months.

Cash Flow Management

. Managed A/R, A/P and inventory for a working capital improvement of $7

million, 45 days.

. Primary responsibility for driving a $60 million global working

capital reduction initiative.

. Developed and managed the made-to-stock/made-to-order initiative for a

60% reduction in made-to-stock items.

. Deployed inventory reduction tools throughout Asia/Pacific, Europe and

Latin America.

. Directed cash management activities of foreign affiliate companies to

ensure maximum return on excess cash positions.

. Initiated and developed a working capital reduction initiative for

over $100 million of value adding opportunities.
