PROFILE

United States Federal Government employee who worked for the Department of the Army

assigned as the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstructions Liaison, Special Adviser,

• Directed and advised the SIGIR delegation while traveling to Iraq.

• Represented SIGIR’s interests, concerns, and relationships in front of the Government of

Iraq (GOI) and among other agencies within the U.S Embassy in Baghdad. I reported to

the Special Inspector General and was responsible for identifying problems and issues

that have significant regional or national impact. As a member of the agency's executive

team; I implemented the IG’s Management Agenda within my specific area of

responsibility

• Accompanied the IG on all missions in Iraq, serving as liaison between SIGIR leadership

and the Government of Iraq’s (GOI) leadership (Prime Minister’s Office; the Ministry of

Justice, Defense, Interior, and Finance; the Council of Representatives Speaker etc.)

• Coordinated all IG’s meetings in Iraq with senior GOI leadership

• Served as SIGIR’s lead cultural advisor and assistant

• Planned, budgeted and assisted in execution of all IG convoy movements in Iraq

• Wrote and drafted letters on behalf of the IG to GOI leadership and officials

• Expanded and Maintained ongoing foreign contacts and relationships between SIGIR and

GOI leadership

• Drafted reports on all SIGIR meetings with the GOI leadership and officials for use in the

SIGIR Quarterly Report

• Responsible for writing security and rule of law sections of the SIGIR Quarterly Report

to the U.S. congress

• Daily analyzed and reported on Iraqi political, religious and military developments

• Reviewed and edited Arabic versions of all SIGIR Quarterly Reports to congress

• Provided daily reports to the IG on local and regional developments affecting Iraq and the

GOI

English to Arabic

• Worked with SIGIR investigators on sensitive cases dealing with fraud and waste
