To Whom It May Concern:
I am applying for the social work position you are offering. My educational
background in clinical/community psychology, clinical social work, along
with my professional experience, makes me an excellent candidate for this
position.
As you will see from the enclosed resume, I have more than 5 years of
experience in the field of social work/counseling. During my most current
position, I worked as a school social worker and assisted students with
transitioning to high school/college. During my internship at Grand Blanc
schools I worked with students in order to help crate academic schedules
and transition plans.
I have worked with children and adults who suffer from severe mental
illness. I have conducted individual and group therapy with clients and
families, as well as didactic groups to educate on mental health illness
and its affects on the individual and their families.
I have also worked in case management services, including crisis
stabilization program with adults and children at high risk, addressing
severe behavioral problems at home and in the community, linking them to
long-term outpatient services, including employment, housing and outpatient
therapy.
If you have questions, or if you want to schedule an interview, please
