• Represented OptumInsight at the 2010 IHE Connectathon and HIMSS Interoperability Showcase,
demonstrating how the existing EDI network could be used to pass quality/QRDI metrics between providers and

• Defined OptumInsight’s initial Health Information Exchange (HIE) strategy (Axolotl was acquired in August

Hired to work on special projects for CEO Kevin Pearson and CMO David B. Ostler. In a short time, made key
contributions to corporate strategy, market research, and turning-around critical initiatives.
Championed Payer-Provider Connectivity and Health Information Exchange (HIE) strategies. Led research,
strategic rationale, business case, target assessment/selection, financial modeling and business plans.
Led strategic targeting and due diligence of Connectivity acquisitions (Claredi, May ‘06; ENS Health, Aug. ‘06).
Built a Marketing and Product Management Portal to enable sharing of market research, competitive intelligence
and market analysis across the organization.
Directed the turn-around of the 2004 Ingenix Summit, Ingenix’ annual customer conference. Managed a budget in
excess of $3MM, drove plan back on schedule, and improved recruiting plans/execution resulting in a 20%
