Electrical Maintenance of 4 x 600 MW Chinese Sepco III made Thermal Power

Plant consisting of,

. Maintenance of Electrical System of PF Boiler Auxiliaries,BTG & CHP.

. 400 KV Switchyard with its associated Switchgear.

. Operation and Maintenance of 11 KV Switchgear Vacuum Breaker Panels

having Motor Management Relay & Motor Differential Relay & 415 V MCC &

Unit PCC Panels having Motor Management Relay.

. Maintenance of LT & HT motors up to 11600 KW,

. Maintenance OF Power Transformer up to 750 MVA (3 Phase 250 MVA each).

. Electrical System of ESP,UPS,Battery Charger,VFD & SCADA.

CHP :- Operation & Maintenance of Electrical System for CHP Area HT/LT

Breakers & Motors for Truck Tippler,Track Hopper, Wagon Tippler & Stacker

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

. Co-ordination and monitoring with various departments for smooth

functioning of the unit & various activities during annual shut down.

. Trouble Shooting & trip analysis.

. Carrying out plant efficiency and defects analysis.

. Ensure that all the activities at the sites are carried out

effectively and efficiently during major shutdowns.

. Arrange thermography, relay testing, condition monitoring and site

specific services as per site requirement.

. Identifying Areas of improvement and recommending process modification

& equipment calibration to enhance operational efficiency of the

systems.

. Ensuring all operation activities are carried out as per SOPS.

. Condition based monitoring of the equipment along with Preventive

Maintenance.

. Transformer oil analysis and transformer maintenance.

. To identify service provider for various functions/services and study

service provider reports.

. Study all incident reports and provide necessary feedback to sites.

. Ensure all preventive & corrective maintenance practices are followed

to maintain the integrity & life of the equipment & personnel.

. Organizing in House Training for

subordinates/Technicians/Operators,through external/internal training

programmes .

. Responsible for smooth operation of the Power Plant with higher

productivities & low equipment downtime.

. Maintaining the materials & the spare parts (Mandatory & Urgent

Critical Spares) for the smooth functioning of the plant as well as

for the emergency period also inspection of materials and their

approval.

. Maintaining Consumable Items, Manpower Tools & Tackles, Punch Point,

Monsoon Preparedness & Action taken to prevent the incident.

. Ensure continuous improvement in safety.

. Review of daily log sheets,log books and maintenance practices.

. Defect pending VS removal status.

. Identify, train and develop at least one or two successor.

. Participate and coordinate in all O&M review meeting.
