• Completed PhD level literature review on studies of bootstrap theory and variable selection of high
dimensional. Later applied knowledge of these theories to data analysis.
• Implemented SAS programming to illustrate ALASSO method developed by Harvard Biostatistics research team
using an HIV drug resistance example.
• Estimated the precision of sample statistics by using sets of HIV drug resistance data, modeled linear
regression of the data pool and resampled the data points using SAS and R language.
• Researched findings to ensure professors’ method reduced the standard error and confidence regions provided
better approximations.
