B.tech project:

Optimal placement of Phasor Measurement Units(PMU)

• PMUs measure the voltage and current phasors.

• Use Global Positionong System (GPS) for the synchronizing signal.

PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN

• Completed a summer project on SWITCH MODE POWER CONVERTERS in IIT INDORE itself

from 25th June to 20thJuly 2011.

• Went on an industrial visit to OMKARESWAR POWER PLANT. There I observed the working

principle of INDUCTION MOTOR & SYNCHRONOUS GENERATOR and their practical

implementation in generation of electricity.

• Did a project on TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM DESIGNING using NI ELVIS software

as part of course in 6th semester.
