PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Loews Miami Beach Hotel – Miami, FL
5/2013 - Present
Recruitment Supervisor
In my current role, my responsibility is to oversee all aspects of recruiting new team members for a 790 room (roughly 800 employee hotel). This
includes pre-screening applicants, scheduling phone interviews, conducting manager Talent + interviews, and hiring them into our system. I
work with E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility as well as schedule drug and background testing for all new hires. This also includes
preparing new hire folders for orientation before and after orientation is complete.

Job Placement Director/Recruiter
As the Job Placement Director my role is to work with graduates of the school to assist in placing them in jobs in the surrounding Maryland,
Virginia, and DC area. Part of this role is to communicate with bar managers to generate new leads for my graduates. I conduct job placement
“sessions” to assess the graduates and see what level they are on as well as their personality in order to find the right job fit for them. My other
role at the school is also to do sales where our goal is to convert as many leads into students as possible. It is a small staff so I do everything
from registration to accounting for each student.

I was brought to the Gaylord National, a 2,000 room resort with four restaurants, two lounges, and 100+ suites with the intention of
a ssisting in the development of the restructuring their Restaurant Sales Department. I have since created an organized system between
t he Sales Team and the Restaurant Managers to ensure the events are being executed more efficiently. I’ve also contributed to
d eveloping marketing promotions to increase our sales revenue. Prior to my arrival, the department produced $1.7 Million between
2 009 and 2010. Since my arrival, we ended the year at $4 Million which is attributed to the new sales method that has been put into
p lace that allow us to run more efficiently and turn 85% of our inquiries into definite bookings.

8/2008 – 9/2009
Restaurant Sales Manager
I sell, plan, and execute private events in all three restaurants and the one lounge located within the 1,400 room Resort. Part of my
r ole in creating the contracts for these events includes working with the chef’s to create menus, setting up and ordering linens,
c enterpieces, floral arrangements, and any other specific décor through our vendors as well as working with our entertainment
d epartment to create uniquely themed events. During the function, I act as the onsite coordinator to ensure proper implementation of
c lient specifications. In doing this, I build strong relationships with my clients to ensure they return multiple times each year. The
m arketing side of my position requires me to update and maintain our web site as well as create outlet promotions to bring in
a dditional revenue each year. From 2008 – 2009 I brought in a total of $1.6 Million dollars in Restaurant Event Revenue.
Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center/Food & Beverage Department– Kissimmee, FL

Administrative Assistant II/Coordinator for the Restaurant Sales Department
I worked closely with the Restaurant Sales Manager to assist with organizing and selling group events in the outlets. My
