In my current role, my responsibility is to oversee all aspects of recruiting new team members for a 790 room (roughly 800 employee hotel). This

includes pre-screening applicants, scheduling phone interviews, conducting manager Talent + interviews, and hiring them into our system. I

work with E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility as well as schedule drug and background testing for all new hires. This also includes

preparing new hire folders for orientation before and after orientation is complete.

As the Job Placement Director my role is to work with graduates of the school to assist in placing them in jobs in the surrounding Maryland,

d eveloping marketing promotions to increase our sales revenue. Prior to my arrival, the department produced $1.7 Million between

2 009 and 2010. Since my arrival, we ended the year at $4 Million which is attributed to the new sales method that has been put into

p lace that allow us to run more efficiently and turn 85% of our inquiries into definite bookings.

I sell, plan, and execute private events in all three restaurants and the one lounge located within the 1,400 room Resort. Part of my

d epartment to create uniquely themed events. During the function, I act as the onsite coordinator to ensure proper implementation of
