Highlights:
Handled highly self ignitable nature of materials (worse than sulphur )
like Coal (50 Million TPA) with dust,direct reduction Iron at 750 deg
centigrade temp & Cold DRI(10Millon TPA), Lime(5 TPA) which will become
powder & gets exothermica (emits heat) when moisture ingresses,
HBI(catches fire due to long storage nesscitating inventory movement and
effective controls, Coke(2 MTPA) Iron Ore (14 Million TPA).
Steel cord conveyors, fibric conveyors size ranging from 1 meter to 2.4
meters wide, lengths upto 75 kilo meters,strength ST3150,EP 2500.Flexowall
belts up to 500 TPH Capacity.

Brief Profile on projects:
A)Feb2013 to SEPT2013: I was working as Material handling Specilist in
Techint an Italian EPC company, for GASCO sulphur handling project
consists of rail car unloading,stacker reclaimers,ship loaders,conveyors.
B) .April2012 to Jan2013:worked as mechanical engineering professor in
Adama university,teaching Material handling,industrial design to Master's
students.
C)JUNE 2010-Sept2011: Bhushan steel,India which is now in first phase of
1.2 MTA of steel prouduction capacity and expansion is going on for phase
2 for 6MTA .
I Was working as Material Handling Team leader for both the phases and
responsible for the following.
1) Errection and commissioning of Material handling system for Phase-1
which consists of Wagon tipplers(1200TPH)-2nos, truck tipplers(600TPH)-4
nos,stacker reclaimers(1200 TPH) -4 nos,Conveyor system of 10kms
long.Crushers,screens,Dedusting .This system is commissioned and Handling
COAL,COKE,LIMESTONE,DOLOMITE,IRON ORE,COOKING COAL for Direct reduction
iron plant,Blast Furnce,Lime plant,Coke Ovens,Coal washery,Power plant.
2)For phase 2 Involved in engineering with Our consultants(MECON) which
requires about 90,000TPD i.e 32 MTA of Material to be handled .I am
responsible for engineering,errection,commissioning of the sytem from
client side. L&T is our Main contractor for Equipment supply and
errection&commissioning.
D)2007 - 2010 Shadeed Steel,oman, an integrated steel plant
I was in Project management team .As Material Handling Team leader I
was
responsible for all project activites like Basic engineering,Detail
engineering,
Inspection, Errection, Commissioning of Material handling system
consists of ship
loaders cum unloaders-2nos of 1800 TPH,Conveyors3600TPH,
screens,stacker
Reclaimer3600TPH,stacker 800TPH,flexowall Belts,De dusting systems,
silos,
mobile equipments.
Our main contractors for this project are ZPMC,CHINA For Ship unloaders
cumloaders, TRF,India for conveyor,stacker reclaimer,Dedusting supply
supplier.M/sDogulos for civil Works,Petron for structural Fabrication
and Errection.Menard for Soil improvement work
Been to ZPMC,China for shipunloders engineering .

E)2005jan - 2006Dec Saudi iron &steel company, Hadeed
I Worked in Material Handling Project for their world biggest DRI
&HOT DRI
HANDLING system.As Section head under Project manager I was
Responsible for
Basic engineering,Detail engineering,
inspection,errection,commissioning of
a)Material handling system of ship unloaders, conveyors,stackers,
vibrating
screens,feeders, flexowall belts.
b)Hot DRI( at 700deg centigrade temp)Handling apron conveyor

Our Main contractor for this Project is VOIST ALIPNE.
.I was at voist alpine,Linz,Austria, for engineering of the project
for 18 months.

a)I Was in Project management team for Material handling system.i was
responsible for Engineering,Inspection,Errection,commissiong of Material
handling system which consisting of 15kms Conveyors of 3600TPH, Feeders,Screens, Stackers of 3600 TPH, Crushers, Flexowell belts, Barge
Unloaders 1800TPH, Ship loaders1200TPH, Silos, etc.The Materials Handled
are HOT briqutted Iron, Iron ore, LIME, Iron ore pellets/Lumps.
L&T,TRF were our main contractors.
b) After completion of the project commissiong MAINTAINED THE SYSTEM
WITH ZERODOWN For 12 months CONTINUOUSLY.
> G)1990April -1994 Malavika steel,India.
As team leader I was responsible for Material HandlingProject activites
like preparation of specification, vendor selection, design approval,
finalization of order, engineering,errection&Commissiong of all material
handling systems consisting of wagon tripplers, stacker cum reclaimers,
conveyors, trippers, stockhouse systems, skips, locos, EOT cranes, mobile
equipment.
MUKUND,Indiana,L&T were our main contractors.
> H)1989-1990april Carabian ispat, Trinidad West Indies Integrated
steel plant in Material handling Dept&incharge for the following:
. Projects&Maintenance of material handling of iron plant which
consists of 20 kms Long conveyors, screens, vibrating feeders,
bucket elevators, stackers and weigh feeders,Felxowell
belts,dust collection systems in DRI Plant, Steel plant, Lime
plant.
> I) 1978- 1989 .Neyveli lignite corporation. Involved In Project works
of 20,000TPH capactity Bulk material handling system( handling
500mmx500mm Over Burden rocks, coal) .
. Erection and commisioning of conveyors upto 20,000 tons/hr
capacity & 75 kms long.
. Stackers, trippers, crushers,etc.,
. Vulcanising of steel cord belts of st 3150 strength and fabric belt
of
EP2500 strength.

K) J)a.Responsibilities of review the design development, preparing
document for construction process activities, management and monitoring the
construction work, quality checking of deliverables at each stage
b. Responsibility of submission and getting approval of drawings,
construction and operation documents like project execution plan,
functional description, method statements etc as per contract.
c. Responsibility to notify any changes in scope of supply and communicate
to client with proper variation and claim statement.
d. Participate in On Site Coordination meetings with client; and organize
review meeting with sub contractor.
e. Coordinate with engineering team for requirements between site and
engineering office and ensure all changes in scope are incorporated in
time.
f. Execute, monitor and control field construction activities in
conformance with project drawings, specifications, schedules, cost
estimates, procedures, quality requirements and safety standards.
g. Responsibility to make proper communication system within the execution
team and project members.
h. Ensure that materials and equipment delivered to site are adequately
identified, and safely handled and stored to prevent loss, damage or
injury.
i. Examine/resolve QA/QC related issues with clarification, interpretation
and interference.
j. Monitor the implementation of the site safety plan, including method
statements.
