PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Currently working with, GLAXO SMITHKLINE CONSUMER HEALTH CARE Ltd, Rajahmundry.

As a Graduate Apprentice Trainee

• Fluidized Bed Combustion Boiler of capacity 12TPH with pressure 10.5 kg/cm2 and operating

steam temperature up to 180deg. It is arranged with Electro Static precipitator.

• Shutdown and Maintenance of FBC Boiler, Coal handling plant, Ash handling plant and 310kw

turbo alternator turbine and gained knowledge on boiler auxiliaries like FD fan, PA fan, ID fan,

ESP, Bag filters, Ash blowers, Coal feeders and Feed pumps.

• Water Generation Plant consists of preparation of Demineralization water, Soft water and raw

water by the process of Ion Exchange, RO with Mixed bed and Multigrade filter.

• HVAC consists of Vapor Compressor Refrigeration System, Single and Double Effect Vapor

Absorption Chillers, Chilled water plant, Dehumidifiers and Cooling Towers of capacity

50,000GPH.

• Erection and Commission of vapor absorption machine (make: thermax India ltd) and Reverse

Osmosis plant (make: Revolve engineers pvt ltd) and Cooling Towers (make: Paltech)

• Maintenance of various equipments like Submersible Pumps, Multistage Centrifugal pumps,

Water Ring vacuum pumps, Monoblock pumps, Gearboxes, Belt Pulleys, Belt Conveyers, Belt

drives, screw type centralized air compressor, reciprocating air compressor sealing machine,

evaporators, pasteurizer, Couplings, Crushers, Filters, Nozzles, Valves, steam traps, strainers and

bearings.

• Monitoring the root cause of problem arising during routine maintenance work and implementing

systematic solution and Technical Training to work force for effective maintenance and proper

utilization of equipments by the standard operating procedure (SOP).

ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Main Project Title: SOLAR THERMOELECTRIC REFRIGERATOR, Time - 3months

• Thermoelectric refrigeration is a novel method of producing low temperatures is based on the

reverse seeback effect that is called as PELTIER effect.

• A Peltier cooler or Thermoelectric heat pump is a solid state active heat pump which transfers

head from one side to the device to the other in order to produce cooling effect with consumption

to electrical energy, depending on the direction to the current flow.

• Thermoelectric modules are solid state heat pump, which have the advantage of being

environmentally friendly, being quiet, have no moving parts & can operate using direct current

supplied from photovoltaic solar cells.

Industrial Project: MANUFACTURING OF SUGARCANE CRUSHING ROLLERS,Time -

15days

Place of work - KRISTNA ENGINEERING WORKS, VIJAYAWADA

• This project mainly deals with the concept of Sugarcane Crushing rollers, Casting, Pattern

making, Moulding and Core making, Pouring and Solidification, Fettling (break the mould),

Inspection, Machining process.

• In this we discussed about machining procedure and fitting the shaft into the roller. In this we also

discussed about casting involved in the preparation of shaft and roller.
