Synopsis

I am an MBA in Finance & Marketing from Anna University Madras. I have a total

experience of 4.6 years in mutual fund industry. I count my good analytical skills and

expertise in mutual fund analysis as my strengths. I am self-confident and always ready to

accept new challenges.

WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Working with Financial Express, UK as Senior Data analyst (Dividends dept.) from

Feb 2008 – Till date Chennai

Company Profile - Financial Express:

Financial Express is a Financial services and data company which specializes in the

collection, validation, dissemination and analysis of fund information

The company collects fund prices, dividends, histories, and factsheet data for more

than 100,000 UK and offshore funds and is the main or sole supplier of data to many

UK fund management companies

The company also involved in designing web pages for Aberdeen, Skandia, Legal &

General, Gartmore, Canada Life etc.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collecting & Analyzing mutual fund dividend data & NAV and validating the

information collected Processing the data and updating it to the main database

• Analyzing fund performance

• Assuring data accuracy (Data quality checks)

• Dealing with Fund Manager queries

• Preparing daily MIS

• Training new recruits into the team

• Creating PowerPoint presentations process reports based on the findings.

• Working on Xceptor (TOOL) fixing up the complicated file in the tool to operate in

automatically.

• Acquisition of new funds directly from the Fund accounting team of reputed mutual

fund companies.

• Build up new contact

• Independently handling projects.

• Finding out the newly launched funds by analyzing all the emails, price files and

new entries in the price files and will make all the arrangements to get them

displayed on Trust net.

o Handling default customers who are failed to make payment within the due

date

o Calling customers and ask them to make the payment.

o Sending legal notice to the customers who are not willing to make the

payment

o Sending person for the field verification to understand the customer situation

o Preparing monthly statement
