Wells Fargo Bank is the largest mortgage provider in the U.S., making it

the biggest player in the capital markets. The businesses process of buying

and selling Mortgage backed securities to the investors requires a strong

database repository which would replace a de-normalized legacy system in

use for over two decades. This requirement triggered the creation of a

'Capital Markets Common Repository' (CMREP) an Oracle based database system

which will be used to Pool the loans into groups and sell them to the

investor agencies like Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Gennie Mae using a newly

designed web based pooling application called 'Asset Sales Delivery System'

(ASDS). The expectation from the new system was to be robust, dynamic and

future proof to accommodate foreseen and unpredicted modifications and

business requirements.

Responsibilities:

. Analyzed requirements documents to get in depth understanding of the

business need for creating a new trading system called ASDS.

. Created Use Case diagrams using MS Visio to depict the interactions

between the users and the multiple upstream and downstream systems.
