Research and Work Experience

Lab Analyst

IEH Laboratories, West Deptford, NJ.

February 2013 - Present

. Monitor and perform required microbiological tests to identify

microorganisms such as E. coli O157:H7, Salmonella, Listeria Spp. and

Shigella in client samples.

. Detect microorganisms using multiplex PCR and other microbiological

techniques.

. Maintain accurate electronic and daily records of all the tests

performed. Creates certificate of analysis for clients using IEH LIMS

software.

. Observes and record daily temperature for all the incubators,

refrigerators, and freezers containing client samples, and using

Microsoft Office to calculate any deviation in their respective

permissible temperature range.

. Work in conjugation with QA manager on laboratory safety policies,

biohazard maintenance and waste disposal procedures.

. Perform other duties such as washing, autoclaving, solution and media

preparation, and stocking.
