Professional Training Experience & Acquired Skills :

At Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai, I had the privilege to work as House

Officer under stalwarts like Dr. M.N.Shahane, Dr. Satish Modi, to assist

in various types of trauma, spine surgeries and arthoplasty, worked under

Dr. Ashok Johari to assist in paediatric orthopaedic surgeries., assist

arthoscopy under Dr. Anant Joshi, to closely observe and assist hand

surgeries under the pioneer hand surgeon Dr. B. B. Joshi.

At Rajiv Gandhi Medical College,Thane, worked as Registrar under Dr.

M. N. Sohoni, Dr. Bhate, Dr. R. Krishnamurti., and trained in handling

various trauma emergencies and independently operating upper and lower limb

orthopaedic surgeries.

At M.T.A Municipal Hospital, Mulund, Mumbai (under posting from L.T.

Medical College, Sion, Mumbai) worked under Dr. Rajeev Pathak, Dr. S.

Joshi., and further enhanced my skills to operate independently various

trauma and spine surgeries.

Then I joined Government service as a Medical Officer in orthopaedics

at General Hospital, Amravati (MS) .The General Hospital being a tertiary

care centre, I had to handle all types of cold and trauma, spine cases,

and all medicolegal cases single handedly . This huge exposure and vast

experience of a period of 3 yrs. instilled in me self-confidence in

managing various types of spine, orthopaedics and trauma emergencies .

I also offered my services for a social cause, as Honorary

Orthopaedician at Dayasagar Hospital, Amravati for 11 yrs. It is a

Missionary Hospital dedicated to serve the needy and the under

privileged patients.

Presently, I am attached to Kulkarni Hospital,Amravati, Maharashtra,

doing private practice since 16th May 2012.

Teaching Experience :

I have taught Anatomy as Lecturer at T.S. H. Medical College,

Amravati .

I also have experience in teaching as a Tutor in "Department of

Orthopaedics, in Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Memorial Medical College,

Amravati, (M.S teaching under-graduate medical students and post-

graduate orthopaedic students.

Inter-national Experience :

I also have the inter-national experience of working in Gulf

. I worked in Badr- al- Samaa Hospital, Oman, as Orthopaedic

specialist for a period of 2 yrs. It was an experience worth mentioning

to offer my services to national Omani population but also had the

privileged to learn in treating a wide plethora of international patients

coming to Oman from the Middle East extending to the whole of Arab world, African continent,European to far East Asia.

Fellowship Training :

I did Fellowship Training in Spine Surgery at Global Baroda Hospital,

Baroda, Gujarat, under Dr. Rajiv Shah.

I did Fellowship Training in Arthoplasty at Wellcare Hospital, Baroda,

Gujarat, under Dr. Bharat Modi.

I also having training experience in Hand Surgery under eminent Hand

Surgeon

Dr. Hemant Patankar, Mumbai.

M Ch Orthopaedics :

I am also registered for M Ch in Orthopaedics CME certification

programme of six months duration since 1st Oct 2012 till 23st Mar 2013 held

by University of Seychelles American Institute of Medicine, which is

affiliated and recognised with American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons for

Continuous Medical Education.

Accomplishments and Upgrading skills :

As orthopaedics is a young and continuously evolving science and

new treatment modalities are coming up everyday, I always made a point to

update myself by attending workshops and conferences .I attend regularly

conferences at national and regional level every year. I have also attended

various workshops on arthoplasty, spine, hand, paediatric orthopaedics,

pelvis, regional flaps in orthopaedics, organized by Bombay Orthopaedic

Society . I have also attended microscopic vascular repair course organized

by Johnson and Johnson company.

Life Membership of Orthopaedics Associations :

To keep myself update and well informed regarding recent developments

in orthopaedics, I have endorsed myself as a Life Member to all major

orthopaedic associations. The various journals published by these

associations keeps me well informed regarding new procedures through
