1. Patient Flow Simulation Model

Built a comprehensive discrete event simulation model of patient flow in Emergency Department

(ED), Operating Room (OR) and Inpatient Unit (IU) .

Developed a Multi-ED and OR simulation model for two hospitals and analyzed patient transfer

system in the model.

2. Timely Inpatient Discharge: Team member of a Lean six sigma project for reducing patient discharge

process time and streamlining the inpatient discharge process.

3. Electronic Breast Surgery Nurse Navigation Tool

Developed a nurse navigation tool using advanced VBA programming skills to automatically .

retrieve any patient’s breast surgery database and also generate patient related statistics.

4. Diabetic Patient Blood Pressure Level Prediction Model (In progress)

Analyzed data of all 4 methods currently used to obtain blood pressure levels of a patient

ANOVA analysis to compare these 4 methods’ accuracy of measuring blood pressure levels of a

diabetic patient (In progress)
