Accreditations
Since becoming Risk Manager for MasTec, Inc. Austin Division, safety
performance has improved by nearly 50% from the previous year.
Safety education and communication from supervision to employees has
been the key to success.
While employed at Miken as Site Safety Director from 1999 to 2005,
the Incident and Accident Rate substantially decreased. The Miken
Seadrift Site maintained an incident and accident free site from
January of 2000 to December of 2004 with no recordables.
Awards received
2001-2004 Safety Excellence Coastal Bend Business Roundtable
presented the Excellence Award to the Miken Specialties Inc. at the
DOW Seadrift Site for Safety Achievement.
2011-2012 Safety Excellence H.B.R. presented the Excellence Award
to the Wyatt Field Service.
