As a staff nurse my job duties included complete direct patient care in a rehabilitation
hospital setting. Responsibilities include admissions, patient discharge instructions,
medication administration, wound care, intravenous medication administration, and
interdisciplinary care meetings. As a Supervisor to a staff of Nurses and CNA’s in care
of patients on scheduled days I over saw their patient care, conducted staff meetings,
and made assignments for the oncoming shift. Complete all management assignments
as directed by Nurse Manager and CNO. I was recruited as a liaison by the admissions
director. In marketing I met with and assessed prospective rehabilitation patients, met
with family members, case managers, and social workers of several hospitals. I
completed all assessment reports in a timely basis via computer, conducted hospital
tours, and reported to the admissions director all findings. I did marketing on an as
needed basis.
