RECENT OIL AND GAS EXPERIENCE.
July 2013 - December 2013
As the Senior Geologist for an registered Plano operator, I provided geo-
technical advice to investors and staff for a Haskell County prospect and a
Lea County, NM deep Ellenburger prospect located in the Permian Basin.
August 2011 - July 2013
Research and provide technically accurate data for a 50,000 acre region in
West Texas, (Floyd, Motley, Lubbock, Crosby Counties, TX - TRRC District
7b) for an active Texas operator.
Provide geological knowledge, mapping, mud/e-log evaluation and field
(completion) experience in the eastern shelf region of West Texas, (Runnels
County, TX - TRRC District 7b) for an active Texas operator. To date, four
wells have been drilled on their lease. Cumulative oil production is
approximately 10000 Barrels of oil (BO), and 10 million cubic feet of
natural gas (MMCFG). Provided over $400,000 in working capital from
accredited investors.
April - July 2011
Provided well log evaluation/analysis for approximately 50 oil/gas wells in
the Forest City Basin, Jefferson County, NE Kansas for an active Kansas
operator. The evaluation/analysis determined at least 5 PUDS (drillable
locations). A public Canadian company has committed $1.75 million to
further develop an area of mutual interest (AMI) based on the
evaluation/analysis.
May - June 2011
Provided a Basin study of a mature oil field circa (1940) located in NW New
Mexico for an active Texas operator. This study included isopach mapping
(using IHS-PETRA) software, decline curve evaluation, well log analysis,
and historical production examination lo determine the feasibility of
further exploiting this 'tight" sand. The operator has chosen to further
develop their area of interest. AFE approximately $5 million.
October - November 2010
Developed a prospect offsetting gas production on a 340 acre lease in Jack
Co., Texas. The Texas operator chose not to proceed based on
evaluation/analysis and local marginal gas production, lease burdens, and
marketable gas price.
