Wal-Mart is the #1 retailer in the world and is highly successful because
of the strength of its logistics network. DC7010 does over 1.2 billion in
sales and provides dry and perishable groceries to over 100 Wal-Mart
Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets in the Houston area. DC7010 was the
first building of its kind in the Wal-Mart network, utilizing automated
storage and retrieval machinery.

Maintenance Area Manager
As a Maintenance Area Manager, my responsibilities are to work with the
Maintenance Operations Manager and the other facility managers to maintain
operations, the preventative maintenance program, spare part usages,
oversee associate development, and schedule building and equipment repairs.
I also a worked closely with outside vendors and monitored Wal-mart
compliance programs such as LOTO and Storm Water Prevention.

Manager of Modernizations and Retrofits
Swisslog was building automated warehouse systems for Wal-Mart; I worked on
a team coordinating all customer support technical activities for startup,
preventative maintenance, spare parts and trouble calls of these projects.
We monitored system performance and help develop the skills sets of both
Swisslog's technicians and Wal-Mart's maintenance personnel. Our team
worked closely with their maintenance team to develop standard preventative
maintenance, operating procedures and enhancements to optimize the system's
performance. As manager of modernization and retrofits, I was responsible
for overseeing system upgrades for all client installations. These duties
include but not limited too, following up on potential sale leads,
assisting in upgrade design, teaching maintenance training, overseeing
retrofit installations and troubleshooting difficult technical problems.

Manager of Engineering Technicians (in Customer Service)
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all technical activities that
pertained to installations, startups, preventative maintenance and trouble
calls for Engineering Technician Department. Supervised the ongoing
performance and development of personnel with in the Swisslog North America
Technical Support group, which includes 72 technicians nation wide. Managed
the administrative responsibilities of the department including employee
performance reviews, wage reviews, cost programs, and operating budget. I
also work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management
departments to develop site schedules, sale proposals, and solutions to
technical problems as they arise. As an excellent technical troubleshooter,
I was often called to handle the most difficult problems. Other duties
included finding innovative ways to train our client's management,
maintenance and operator personnel; performing maintenance audit
inspections on previously sold equipment, modifying PLC programs, and train
in-house electrical and mechanical personnel.

high volume manufacturing facility. Responsible for maintaining high-speed
luncheon meat slicers, vacuum packing machines, meat grinders, frank and
luncheon meat manufactures, luncheon meat cookers and chillers. Hydraulic
lifts, vacuum pumps, metal detector and fork trucks and pallet jacks.
Responsible for performing weekly preventive maintenance checks and the
rebuilding of specific component on the equipment. Worked with electronic
devices such as: programmable logic controllers, variable frequency AC
drives, chart records, photo and proximity sensors, i.e. IBM PC/XT/AT and
compatibles.
