Orthopedic Shadowing January 2012 – July 2012

• I was fortunate to spend at least 8 hours per week during this time period shadowing Dr. Bradley Fideler. He is an orthopedic
surgeon and sports medicine specialist. He was generous enough to explain each procedure as it unfolded. I witnessed a variety of
surgeries including bilateral total knee arthroplasty, carpal tunnel release, ACL reconstruction, and shoulder arthroscopy.

• I had the opportunity to work on the inpatient floor of the hospital at the information desk. While there I greeted patients, staff, and
