Professional Experience

O'Brien & Nye Cartage Company - Solon, OH 1973-Present

Logistics Supervisor, 2004 - 2011

I coordinate all deliveries and pick ups for many major companies, make

delivery appointments and do customer Bill of Ladings. I route trucks in

both Ohio and Southwestern Pennsylvania. I make sure both the Warehouse

and garage are in running order and I do OS&D's for all shippers.

Dispatcher, 1978 - 2004

I worked on Bill of Ladings, called for deliveries and pickup

appointments, routed orders for delivery, put in driver's manifests for

all loads and learned how the trucking business works.

Driver, 1975 - 1978

I drove company straight trucks and made deliveries in the North East and

West Side of Cleveland. I unloaded trucks at the delivery point.

Maintenance/Mechanic, 1973 - 1975

I worked on truck engines, maintained the trucks, painted trucks when

needed and did on the road service calls if there was a breakdown.
