manufacture of heavy duty engines utilizing gaseous fuels, such as natural gas or hydrogen, as their operating
fuel.
Designed and implemented corporate direction, product planning and development, budgeting, quality control
systems, vendor relations, international sales and establishment of all documentation and certifications.

materials for clinical laboratory testing along with medical reagents used specifically in hematology testing.
Directed corporate planning, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Technical
Support, Inventory Control, Order Processing, Shipping and Receiving.
Grew company through hiring and training from 4 employees to 180 employees and from 3 products to more
than 80 with revenue growth from zero to $24,000,000 annually, with profitability growing to 15%.
Inventor or co-inventor of 10 patents, many Trade Mark registrations and a number of intellectual property
litigations, as plaintiff, defendant and expert witness.
Planned, hired, trained and worked in all departments in my areas of responsibility, hired and trained all
department heads, worked to establish and meet all FDA in-vitro diagnostic requirements under Good

contamination control, large volume, ultra-pure water production and proper use of sensitivity testing for
proper anti-microbiological selection and usage.
Acquired extensive knowledge of HR requirements and procedures, especially with California labor laws

Established safety training, injury prevention, fire and chemical safety requirements, facility design and
cleaning, sterilization installation and monitoring, clean room design and monitoring, employee training
and overall establishment of an entire facility management program.
Successfully completed critical Federal and State of CA FDA audits every two years, and obtained ISO
9001 certification and audits in year 2000 and every two years thereafter.
Established four reagent manufacturing facilities for foreign markets; China, Mexico, Germany and Taiwan. This
required my extended stay for initial installation and commissioning, with bi- annual visits thereafter for audits.
Hematronix was acquired by BioRad Laboratories in 2002, and I continued in a post-acquisition capacity for one year as
an employee heading the transition team and in an R&D capacity.
