Conducted civil, criminal, constitutional, appellate matters and was the legal adviser to several of the

leading banks in Kerala, India. Advised on mortgage, loan and real estate transaction matters.

As a Judge I have extensive experience and deep legal knowledge in both judicial and administrative

matters. I was a judge for more than twenty-one years. During that period I have tried and disposed of

more than a hundred grave murder cases, thousands of highly contested civil cases involving property

disputes, injunctions, recovery of possession, partition etc. I had also the occasion to try, dispose,

mediate and settle several other cases like family disputes, matrimonial matters etc. I am an expert in all

types of legal work. I have vast administrative experience since I was the administrative head of the

judicial district for a considerable period of time. I was also the presiding judge of the Juvenile Justice

Board for more than two years. I was instrumental in the reformation of a more than hundred juveniles by

providing them valuable guidance, quality education, industrial training etc.

Kerala State 1989 – 2007

Presided over all types of civil and criminal cases except murder cases, amounting to thousands and ten

thousands, during this period.

1984-1988:

• Practiced as an Advocate before the District Court Kozhikode and other subordinate courts

in Kerala, India. I was running my own legal firm during this period. I prosecuted and also defended

several criminal cases including murder cases during this period. I also conducted several other civil

cases during this period.
