Description : Today in the present world power resource is very

scarcity. It is very difficult for generating the

power. And in

the next scenario coming to distribution system,

major

power loss occur due to the losses present in it. We

here

concentrated on reducing the losses present in

Radial

Distribution System. A new algorithmic procedure is

designed for the capacitor placement in order to

reduce

the ohmic losses in Radial Distribution System. It

is

achieved by reactive power compensation.

corresponding simulation results are simulated using

MATLAB Software.
