(April 2008 – September 2008) Interpreter-US Marines in Helmand Province:
• To facilitate verbal translation between US Marines and Helmand residence
• Translation of secret military documents for US Marines in Helmand province,
Garmsir district
• Translation or interpretation during meetings with high ranking Afghan National
Army officers and governmental authorities.
• Patrolling outside of the base during days and nights for finding insurgents such
as Taliban
• To facilitate verbal translation during the fight with the Taliban
