I was nominated to participate in a program at my facilty where we were trained to train new employees to

who came to uor facility to work as a CNA.After 90 days of their hire date we were granted a incentive pay

of $300.You couldn't get this incentive unless all paperwork was turned in by me and the new hiree.This

paperwork consist of how well the new hiree does each skill correctly and how well did I do in training

them for thier new job.

Resident fell into a lake

March 2002

while working at Parkview Nursing home in Snellville Georgia a resident who operates a motorize

scooterhad went over to the lake to feed the ducks,well her scooter went off the curb and caused her to

go into the lake.Some runners came over to the facility and informed of what happened,so me and two

other girls ran over to the lake,I pulled her out and started performing CPR on her while this guy was on

the phone with 911,I continue to perform CPR until the med techs arrived.She survived and was in the

hospital a few days,later that year we were recognized by her and her family for being her heros.
