reduced company's telecommunication costs by $25,000 annually.
. Vendor Relations & Consulting: Interfaced with product vendors to
ensure optimal service for technical support and ongoing
maintenance.
Clients Engagements:
CABLETRON SYSTEMS - ENTERSASYS DIVISION
. Tapped as Virtual Private Network (VPN) expert to oversee
implementation, quality assurance, program testing, and deployment
schedule for VPN monitoring tool. Created original set of system
requirements and customer documentation within aggressive project
timeline.
. System Testing: Defined representative test environment for actual
testing, constructed test lab, wrote test strategy/test plan, and
carried out testing procedures.
. Created tests to verify the RADIUS configuration databases for
critical updates of user profile information.
. Automated testing for the VPN remote configuration and VPN
monitoring tools.
GTE INTERNETWORKING
. Directed team of five software quality assurance consultants
through a testing project of the GTE Internetworking "Virtual
Private Network (VPN) Advantage" service. Focused on security and
quality of service for the public internet infrastructure; and
tested the monitoring and performance management of the VPN
service.
. Testing Strategy Plan: Developed and implemented the VPN testing
strategies including testing of VPN Advantage for secure
communications.
. Automation Testing: Employed automation tools for test execution
and defined high-level requirements for a test management system.
Performed hand-on testing for the configurator and network
management subsystems of the VPN Advantage service.
. Technical Advisement: Steered SQA team and consulted with senior
management during entire process.
FUJISU NEXION
. Brought onboard to develop and build software quality assurance
(SQA) team from startup phase. Managed full lifecycle project
activities, established critical SQA processes, and trained and
mentored technical staff.
. Documentation: Gathered RFP and Test Requirements. Defined
technical planning and procedures for testing of the Fujitsu ATM
switch; developed the test strategy document and wrote test plans,
procedures, and acceptance criteria documentation.
. System Configuration & Testing: Designed and wrote in-house OSPF
and RIP tests and collaborated with senior managers to determine
IP test contingencies.
. Created multi protocol testing mix and scenarios for
internetworking performance tests; and conducted extensive
configuration scenario testing for the Ethernet Service Interface
Module (ESIM)
TELLABS WIRELESS SYSTEMS
. Contracted to define quality goals and increase staff competency
levels in the Quality Assurance department. Oversaw the system and
network engineering staff through the development and maintenance
