in decreasing required handling by 30%, cut inventory space, and the number of containers needed to

• Remodeled inventory procedures to eliminate lost material, re inventorying, and streamlined the

• Slashed labor costs 25% through cross training, implemented scrap reduction program that saved $88K.
• Exceeded plant efficiency goal of 95% and achieved department average of 101.56%.
• Increased production efficiencies by 10% through training Group leaders and Line leaders to be more
effective; encouraged supervisors to be on the floor to directly monitor production instead of in an

• Initiated implementation of Kan Ban inventory program that eliminated excess material production by

• Developed color coded bin systems and plant staff training for scrap to ensure correct identification of
