Live-in Home Health Aide

Rescare Foster host home providers - Macon, GA - January 2013 to Present

Responsibilities

January 2013 to January 2014 Work with mentally challenged kids by providing their meals, bathing, feeding/

cooking, and cleaning. Make sure each nurse signs daily log sheets. Maintain records of patient care, condition,

progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with care provider/foster parent that the children

are assigned to. Administer prescribed oral medications when needed. Entertain, converse with, or read

aloud to patients to keep them mentally healthy and alert. Other duties include Pediatric Tracheostomy care,

( suctioning, changing Trach ties, and changing Trach) tube feeding, inserting a ballon G-Button, giving

Nebulizer treatment, and assist the children with physical and speech exercises given to them by the speech

and physical therapist.

Accomplishments

I learned how to interact, understand, and communicate with individuals that were disabled mentally and

physically disabled. I got the satisfaction of helping out those who could not help themselves
