Three-fold responsibilities for my work at The Center Of Community Engagement at Indiana
State University include supporting the editorial activities for Journal for Community
Engagement in Higher Education. Along with Journal management, da t a
management/analysis of the annual curricular engagement survey and programming for events
conducted by the center.
¬ Awarded with Best Graduate Employee of the Year 2012-13
¬ Designed a standard audit process to streamline the technical review for manuscripts
that are submitted to Journal for Community Engagement in Higher Education
¬ Streamlined the data management process for the annual curricular assessment.
The product of this work assists Indiana State University with the evaluation of
community engagement component at the University. As a result, ISU is
recognized to be Number One in Community Service by Washington Monthly.

mapping based on demographic data. Conducted and reported an extensive research and
annotated bibliography of diversity related scholarly work over the last 15 years. Design

membership of the Circle to see that a year-long schedule assures the selection, recruiting
and reporting of new memberships from all classes - juniors, seniors, graduate students,
as well as faculty/staff, alumni and honorary members. Assists in the establishment of an
orientation of the new members to the nature and purpose of OΔK as well as the
obligations of membership and leads the development of a program of activities
appropriate for the campus. Represents the circle at the Regional Conference and
the National Convention

Treasurer/Secretary 2011
The Secretary/Treasurer has the responsibility for taking minutes and attendance at each
meeting, sending minutes and attendance to members of the organization via email,
keeping and maintaining all documents along with an updated roster of the organization,
assist in member recruitment, and do any tasks assigned by the President. The Secretary
will also maintain the budget and oversee all financial decisions with approval of the
President and the Advisor.
President 2010
The president shall assume the position of presiding over all meetings and officers,
approve all financial expenditures and transactions, assume the role of the figurehead of
the organization, may appoint chairpersons as necessary to conduct business, run all
officer meetings when not in absence, serve as the spokesperson and voice of the
organization, and assist with member recruitment.
