Twenty Years of Entrepreneurial Experience
• 1980, purchased a local tavern, transformed it into a white table cloth Italian Restaurant, resulting
in a 400% increase of sales while establishing a diversified customer base and growth
• Expanded the operation by annexing a retail seafood market. By capturing a broader product line
and new revenue stream. The exposure enhanced both the existing business and help to jump start
the new venture to immediate profitability. A growth of over 30% was attained for the next three
successive years.
• 1987 founded Ferullo’s Wholesale Seafood Corporation. With experience in the sourcing of fresh
and local seafood, and the need to provide large customer demands, the wholesale division
created a powerful buying presence. The identity of the entire operation quickly changed to the
demands of supplying multiple levels of accounts. Expansion of business followed. All three
operations created a cross market compliment, benefiting each entity with quick turn over of
product, reduced shrinkage, buying power, healthy cash flow, and competitive pricing.
• 1992, Obtained national exposure through shipping fresh and frozen product in multiple states
and achieved state approved vendor status. Growth continued with a customer base that included,
major colleges and universities, the state prison and hospital systems, hotel chains, private
country clubs, independent retailers, healthcare and assisted care facilities, local restaurant chains
and independent, single unit operations.
• 2007 sold the company to relocate to Columbia, South Carolina.
WINTHROP REALTY ADVISORS. 2007-2009
Performed economics and valuation analysis for commercial and mixed use development
throughout the Southeast Region. Detailed feasibility and market studies for clients, including
independent developers and government agencies.
LOWCOUNTRY SHELLFISH 2009-2010
Joined the sales and distribution team of the Ipswich Group to regain market share of the former
Poseidon Seafood Company. Quickly opened new accounts for the company, by using a culinary
and wholesale background. Introduction to new and more profitable products and underutilized
species to the end users enabled a more profitable center of the plate options.
ALBIES PLACE 2010-2011
Purchased a small local soul food business and as owner operator integrated an Italian menu and
catering operation. Achieved distinction and diversity by winning a culinary competition In Lake
Murray S.C.
WORLD WIDE LANGUAGE RESOURCES Sept 2011-PRESENT
Accepted a contract to handle mail distribution in the Afghanistan Theatre after obtaining security
clearance. Promoted to site lead November 1st. Was the first WWLR site lead to pass DCMA
inspections and compliances, and have maintained that standard every month. May 2012 was
awarded a Certificate of Merit from Task Force 4-227 for outstanding service to the Military.
