From the two weeks training programme I have gained board range of retail, sales and
personal skills, in particular I developed variety of personal skills. How to deal with customers
in day to day basis, in terms of customer refunds and how to answer their queries in a polite
manner. I have learned excellent retail skills too, how to use modern computerised equipment
and specialist retail related software’s. This is useful for stock management control and till
work.

organization.
Role: I severed from hot food to cold drinks, I do the shelving, and manage the stock control. I
work on the tils and trained how to do phone top up’s from it.
(12/06/13 present) British Heart Foundation: role sales assistant.
Role: working on the shop floor, keeping it tidy, mopping, managing the stock and the shelves
to make the shop to a retail and a welcoming atmosphere. I’m also involved in working in the
fitting rooms and the tills.

Role: several management role undertaken. I undertook financial management. At the end of
each week I produced excel spreadsheets to calculate the expenses and the profits of the
restaurant, which allowed me to gain the skills for budget control, cost analysis and problem
solving. I also motivated the staffs to meet deadlines before private bookings to ensure the
food and the decorations were ready for those occasions.
(01/08 11 30/ 11/11) Work experience: helped my father to open his Indian restaurant.
Role: several management skills were involved, supported my father with the recruitment
processes; went through the application to shortlist candidates with him and did some of the
presentations for the new staffs to outline their expectations within the business. I have also
undertaken negotiation role for the restaurants new furnitures.
