A kind person who takes pride in my job whilst exercising a high level of initiative and good

professional manners. I adapt at applying myself to a variety of responsibilities and I have the ability

to work in a team as well as on my own.

KEY SKILLS;

COMMUNICATION ;

As a former primary school teacher and Nurse Attendant in The Gambia, I was effectively sharing

information and keeping records of day to day activities.

TEAM WORK

I was a member of the school’s fund raising and social committee and took the role of chairwoman. I

was also working with a team of Nurses, careworkers and social workers amicably and efficiently in

and around the hospital.

PROBLEM SOLVING

I often help my work mates when they are in need. For many times I do overtime to cover shifts and

provide guidance and counselling where necessary.

PLANNING AND ORGANISING

I have been responsible for organising and coordinating doctors and specialists’ appointments for

patients as well as their meals, cleaning and other domestic needs.

SELF-MANAGEMENT;

I have managed the running of a household and my family. This includes organising all the budjeting,

shopping, cleaning, cooking and washing for the family, making sure all appointments and targets are

achieved on time.

LEARNING AND TECHONOLOGY

I took a short course on how to use the Internet. I am now able to look up information relevant to my

job, do my shopping and plan and book holidays. I can use Microsoft office and email.
